When guests stay at Unlimited Vacation Club’s resorts in Montego Bay, Jamaica, they have more than enough to keep them busy on the resort’s grounds. But sometimes the pull to explore a new place is strong. When you’re ready, there is a lot to see.
Unlimited Vacation Club recommends taking a trip to Doctor’s Cave, one of the most popular beaches in Montego Bay. While it’s not free, the quiet waves, changing rooms, beach bars, and access to water sports make it worthwhile. Almost everything you need to make a trip to the beach fun is available for rent on this beach, however the beach can be very crowded when the cruise ships are in port.
If you’re a music lover, travel to the Bob Marley Centre and Mausoleum, in the small village of Nine Mile, between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. Nine Mile is both the birthplace and burial place of legendary Bob Marley. Inside the house, you’ll see fans have left messages on the walls. There is also a restaurant and gift shop on site. The attraction is very popular and can get quite crowded, so it is best to visit early in the morning.
For a day trip, head towards Ocho Rios. After a stop at the Bob Marley Centre, continue on to Dunn’s River Falls. Unlimited Vacation Club recommends allowing a few hours to hike and spend some time relaxing at the bottom of the falls. The water rushes past as your climb the sometimes slippery trail up to the top of the falls.
These are just a few of the opportunities Unlimited Vacation Club guests have to explore the beautiful island of Jamaica.
